Rick began his music career in 1982 as a founding member of The Source, a  popular band located on the San Francisco Peninsula.  After leaving the band in 1985 he renewed his love of the Bass guitar and Jazz.  He moved to Santa Rosa with his family in 1988 and played for the next 18 years with variations of the Santa Rosa Junior College Jazz Band under the direction of Dan Goulart, as well as many talented Jazz combos.  He recently revisited his Fender Stratocaster and joined the Blue Moon Orchestra where he finally gets to live his dream of playing guitar and singing in a “horn” based dance band.  He has a "special" fondness for those musicians who make music with their lips.
